Tired Tuscan Transformation

When homeowners approached Lisman Studio to renovate their tired Tuscan themed home, the charge was a challenging one; recreate a contemporary space for their outdated kitchen and great room without disrupting walls, electrical, or the layout of the space. Kristina Weaver began by taking out dysfunctional and dated Knotty Alder kitchen cabinets, replacing them with sleek slab doors with a continuous wood grain pattern. Brown and gold granite was switched out with bright, white marble, low maintenance, quartz countertops, immediately refreshing the space. New upscale appliances and modern plumbing tie everything together. Overstuffed tapestry furniture in the Great Room was replaced with clean line furnishings. The chunky alder mantle is gone, replaced with contemporary dry stack white stone, as well as the bland beige carpeting, giving way to chic geometric grey carpeting. The kitchen dining table and chairs, rarely used, but always in the way, was changed out to four comfortable swivel chairs - perfect for relaxing and conversation. The custom designed buffet and coffee table showcase Kristina's ability to infuse all of her spaces with unique accents that reflect her client's budget and taste.
