Simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication.

- Leonardo DA vinci

Megan Ozosky loves to imagine a space in her head and then working to bring it into fruition. Inspired by the pairing of outfits and unique clothes, Megan eventually took her creativity beyond fashion and moved onto the Interior Design stage. Her clever combinations are pattern, color and shapes are fresh and interesting. Her approach is never cliché, and always relevant to effective design. But Megan also has another side to her, minimalism. The idea of working from a blank canvas to create something innovative always drives her design process.

When asked what she loves about Lisman Studio, Megan shares that she loves how caring and willing everyone is to help. Everyone at Lisman Studio truly wants the best for their colleagues and the company as a whole, a rather unusual approach in the competitive world of design. Megan has a tremendous ability to organize, a talent that will serve her well in her design career. She has quickly found that design should serve a purpose – to engage, inspire and motivate. Megan is a graduate of the Interior Design Program at LDS Business College an AAS Degree in Interior Design. Originally from Nephi, Utah, Megan brings a great energy into the Lisman Studio space every time she walks in. We can’t imagine having a Lisman Studio without Megan being a big part of it!

Life isn’t about avoiding risks. It’s about making calculations and going all in with the things you love.

Kimberly Beard is originally from Midway, Utah. She graduated from LDS Business College with an Associate’s degree in interior design. Kim has always had a great interest in design since she was young. At the age of 8 she was busy drawing at night sitting in her bedroom drawing floorplans for houses and businesses. In high school she found herself doodling kitchen elevations on top of her math homework. Upon graduation she headed for a degree in business at Utah State University. However, after spending some time in the business department and then relocating to Salt Lake City she began to come to the conclusion that a professional career in the design industry was where her passion was going to take her.

Kim’s inspiration in her design comes from a variety of sources, nature, architecture and even people. Putting the perfect design with a person’s personality is one of her favorite things to work through in the design process. Understanding that our surroundings can influence our happiness and well being drives Kim to push herself in achieving design that betters the lives of others. A goal of Lisman Studio is to impact our clients through great design and exceptional service. It became quickly evident that Kim was the perfect fit for Lisman Studio and we are grateful to have her as an integral part of our design team.

Always keep your eyes open. Keep watching. Because whatever you see can inspire you.

Alexis Andersen joined the Lisman team in the fall of 2018. With a broad range of experience working for several prestigious design firms, Lisman Studio was thrilled to have her join our team. Growing up as a dancer and with a background in art, transitioning to interior design seemed like a given. Alexis likes to approach her design aesthetic with a clear and open mind, never trying to force her creativity. She has a wonderful expression, “When people say, think outside the box, I’ve always tried to forget that a box even exists at all.” For Alexis, design is also about emotion; how does it make a client feel? Like many designers, seeing her vision become reality is her favorite part of design. With her broad range of technical skills, and refreshing approach to all things design, Lisman Studio is thrilled to welcome her as part of our growing team. We all look forward to being part of her next design adventure!
